More D.I.Y. for M.E.

Last week, I made a 5-page list of everything that I need to do over the next 250 days (yeah I know, it seems like a lot of days) before the wedding, and feeling overwhelmed, I decided to get a few of the easy DIY projects out of the way. Here's what I crossed off the list:

A sign to put in the center of the candy buffet with a quote about candy or sweet or something:

Naturally, I had to go with "Sweet like candy to my soul, Sweet you rock and sweet you roll" from Crash by Dave Matthews Band:

I also finished my coloring books from DIY Bride:

Honestly, whoever created that coloring book file deserves an award or something. It has been used so many times, and is still such a great touch! My final project was my Program Basket:

EDIT: The "Programs" thing on the front of the basket is not actually crooked, I just took the picture before it was glued on for good! It does look a little shabby in the picture!

More on my actual programs when I finish them.. I am in love with them! It seems like a small amount of things, but just crossing 3 to-dos off of my 5 page list felt like a huge accomplishment!

OMG! How adorable this all is! Wow times have changed in six years! I don't remember me and my "little black kate spade" bag doing or even knowing about all these things. The candy table, that is right up my alley, pregnant or just a few weeks post- that will be amazing! The coloring books... who thought of all this? Can I have one now to color? Gracen can test it out

You've totally inspired me! I have 206 days left and I am going to commit myself to do atleast 1 DIY this weekend. No idea what it is going to be but by gosh I am going to do one. I know these things are going to catch up to me and I am going to panic, I'll have more time to concentrate on quality if I do them now!
